Half Yearly State Level Meetings

Half yearly State level meeting with certified energy managers and energy auditors to discuss duties and responsibilities as well as joint progress.

As part of the SDA activity, a two-day residential course is scheduled by Energy Management Centre (EMC) for the Certified Energy Mangers and Certified Energy Auditors in the State at Riviera Suite, Cochin on 4th and 5th of February 2009. It may be noted that this is also in compliance with the direction of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India. The registration at the venue will be (9-9.30 AM).

All CEAs and CEMs are requested to confirm your participation on or before 25th January 2009 to the Director, Energy Management Centre-Kerala, Thycaud P.O, Thiruvananthapuram 695 014 e-mail: eef@keralaenergy.gov.in. Should you require any formal letter for obtaining approval to attend this course, please send us the address of your approving authority.
 


Designated Consumers

Training of designated consumers for annual reporting of energy data on 3rd February, 2009 in Rivera Suit Cochin, 9.30AM to 5.30PM.

As part of the implementation of the EC Act, 2001, training of designated consumers is the one of the key activity. In connection with this Energy Management Centre?Kerala is conducting a one day training programme for ?designated consumers? in the State

In this regard, we seek your kind cooperation, by deputing your Energy Manager/Auditor and senior official for the same. Please note that the participation is limited to 2 persons per organization.

We request your energy manager/engineer to prepare a power point presentation on Best practices on Energy Conservation in your plant to present it in the programme. There will be detailed discussion on the same with experts from Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi, Ministry of Power. The number of slides shall be limited to maximum of 10.
